Programs

LCS offers exceptional early childhood educational programs taught from a Christian perspective for children two years old through Kindergarten, providing positive Christian examples during a child’s most formative years. Please view our program details below and download the above document for registration details.
Mother's Day Out (MDO)


Our Mother’s Day Out program gives children many hands-on opportunities for learning through social interaction, Bible lessons, crafts, music, and theme-related units.  A focus on developing student's fine motor skills and providing multi-sensory experiences is brought in to each activity the students participate in. 
 

  • Days:  Tuesday/Thursday, Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Monday-Friday

  • Hours:  9:00a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with extended hours available for early drop off and late pick up

  • Age:  Two years of age prior to September 1st

​3-Year Old Preschool Class
​

Our Pre-school uses Doors to Discovery Curriculum for Language/Reading Readiness, Math, Science and Social Studies.  Bible lessons and Christian values are also presented along with Art, Music, Health, STEM class and Movement & Movement Class.

 

  • Days: Tuesday/Thursday or Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Monday-Friday

  • Hours:  9:00a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with extended hours available for early drop off and late pick up

  • Age:  Three years of age prior to September 1st *

4-Year Old Pre-Kindergarten

 

Our Pre-K Fours program is a great way to prepare children for Kindergarten for the next school year, and our Jr. Kindergarten offers an excellent program that affords younger five year olds an extra year to develop both academically and socially before going into Kindergarten.

 

This class incorporates DLM Early Learning Express Curriculum for Language/Reading Readiness.  Our Math Curriculum is “Math Their Way”, while Science and Social Studies are utilized from our Kindergarten curriculum.  Bible lessons and Christian values are presented along with Art, Music, Health, STEM class and Music & Movement Class.

​5-Year Old Jr. Kindergarten

Kindergarten​

​

Our Kindergarten uses a literacy based curriculum that encourages reading and writing development, STEM concepts, Social Studies, Listening, Math and many more skills.   Christian values and Bible stories are an integral part of our program, teaching children biblical principals in an engaging and fun way. 

 

Additionally Students attend STEM class twice a week and our Outdoor Learning Center to take learning outside of the classroom!   The children also have the unique opportunity to go on a field trip a month to fun destinations like Coppell Safety Town, Dallas Children's Theater, ScieTech, Excite Gym, a Veterinary Clinic, and other fun and educational places.

 

In addition to our wonderful curriculum, your children are truly loved, nurtured and blessed by our tenured teachers and staff.  One more year at this critical age in a Christian centered educational environment, creates a foundation in your child for years to come.

  • Age:  Five years of age prior to September 1st

Extended Hours

 

Our extended hours programs are offered Monday through Friday and allows parents the flexibility of additional hours.  These programs are outside of our core curriculum time and provide students the opportunity to enjoy 

 

  •  Rise & Shine:  8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

  •  Stay & Play:  1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
